Construction Control Guidelines For Environmental Logistics

The Plot Developer shall provide trash receptacles on each floor of the building at sufficient frequency to discourage any stockpiling of waste. Stockpiling of waste where it creates a risk to health and / or safety will not be tolerated, and works on the offending site may be suspended.

  • The Plot Developer shall be responsible for removal of all debris from the site.
  • Trash and debris must not be allowed to accumulate.

Each Plot Developer is required to clean his work area and remove accumulated debris on a daily basis.

Each Plot Developer is responsible to ensure that areas designated for tea breaks, lunch etc. for his workers are kept clean and hygienic at all times.

Those items considered to be too heavy or big for the trash bins shall be removed from the Site directly by each Plot Developer. The Plot Developer shall perform cleaning of areas around each site office.

The Plot Developer shall place skips around the construction areas and near the site offices with sufficient frequency. The Plot Developer shall, at the end of each day's work, empty the skips and haul the garbage and debris off-site.

The Plot Developer shall store construction waste and debris in a workman like manner, so as not to cause any fire hazard or any other encumbrances. Disposal of waste and debris should be done in a timely manner as permissible by the Site logistics and schedule.

The Plot Developer shall provide mini-dumpster on a daily basis for use (on each floor) and ensure disposal of debris on a daily basis or as directed by the Master Developer's Project Manager.

Housekeeping and cleanliness are of critical importance; the Plot Developer shall be responsible for maintaining the entire plot site and adjacent work areas in a clean and safe condition.

The Plot Developer is entirely responsible for the pest control of his Site.

Every effort shall be made by each Plot Developer to prevent the presence of vermin, rodents, mosquitoes and other pests on his Site.

The Plot Developer must ensure to install shoots to be used for construction debris collection from higher floors. No free fall of debris shall be permitted.

The Plot Developer shall take all reasonable steps to protect the environment on and off the site and to avoid damage or nuisance to persons or to property of the public or others resulting from pollution, noise or other causes arising as a sequence of his method of operation.
