Who Is An Expatriate Person?

An Expatriate is a person moved and stayed temporarily or indefinitely long time to a different country during which expatriates are expected to attain goals like employment, business, education, training, treatment etc. The term "Expatriate" mainly refers to an individual that defined under professionals, workers, artists or person who is in exile taking positions outside their home country, either independently or sent by an organization.

To be more sensible, we can define who is an Expatriate in other three ways:

  1. An Expatriate is a person who has left their country of origin in order to reside in another country.
  2. An Expatriate is a person who has left home for work reasons, including migrant labor who seeks more lucrative employment in a different country.
  3. An Expatriate is a person who is living temporarily overseas, or completely renounce their citizenship of one country in favor of another.
