Loan For Dairy Units

SBI has two bank loan schemes for Dairy related agricultural projects. The first one named -SBI Scheme For Dairy Societies- aims to provide finance for creating infrastructure like Construction of Milk house or Society office, Purchase of Automatic milk collection system, transport vehicles, Bulk chilling unit; and the second named SBI Dairy Plus Agriculture loan scheme to finance milk producing members of AMUL pattern societies recognized private milk dairies posting profit in the past two years.

SBI provides agriculture loan for Setting Up Of Agri-Clinic & Agri Business Centres as the part of self employment opportunities to technically trained persons.

Bank Loan Eligibility For Setting Up Of Agri-Clinic and Agri Business Centres

Persons having technical degree in Agricultural or allied to agriculture like horticulture, animal husbandry, forestry, dairy, veterinary, poultry, pisciculture and other activities. The subsidy would be admissible only in respect of agricultural graduates trained under ACABC scheme on or after 1st April, 2004.

State Bank of India Caters to the needs of agriculturists and landless agricultural labourers through a network of 8750 rural and semi-urban branches. Apart from the branches, there are 428 Agricultural Development Branches (ADBs) which also cater to agriculturists. SBI is the leader in agri finance in the country with a portfolio of Rs. 64,000 crs in agri advances covering around 80 lac accounts.
